In planning your NYC vacation, think about what you like to do most - is it Broadway with its many theaters and shows, is it sightseeing in Manhattan, is it eating out in great restaurants, is it shopping along Fifth Avenue, or staying in a famous luxury hotel? Then try to plan your trip around those activities. You may want to stay in a hotel that's close to the attractions you're most interested in. You may even want to consider a condo or extended stay hotel, which can cost less and give you some of the comforts of home while you're on the road.

San Diego has an average year round temperature of about 67 degrees. So for a San Diego vacation, it never gets too cold, it never gets to warm. But don't get fooled there are seasons and they have their own personalities. Don't come here looking for warm water swimming. If the ocean gets up to 70 degrees that's considered warm. San Diego is most crowded during the summer. If you can pull it off, the best time of year to be here is September and October. The skies are usually clear and the days are warm and comfortable. Spring breaks along the coast can sometimes be a disappointment because of what is called the marine layer. It's a cloud cover that can hang in most of the day.
